Getting a GMRS License

You can obtain a GMRS (General Mobile Radio Service) license directly from the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) website. Here's the official link to apply:

How to Get Your GMRS License: 
Go to the FCC Universal Licensing System (ULS).
Click "Log In" or "Register" if you don’t have an FCC account (called an FRN – FCC Registration Number). 

Once logged in, choose "Apply for a New License." Select "ZA – General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS)" from the list. 
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your application.
Pay the $35 fee (valid for 10 years, covers your entire family). ✅ No test required. 

Once approved, you'll receive your official GMRS call sign.(rephrase) 
Once logged in, choose "Apply for a New License."
Select "ZA – General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS)" from the list.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your application.
Pay the $35 fee (valid for 10 years, covers your entire family).
